When was the last time you felt bad about your existence? When is the last time you felt your life’s is going nowhere? When was the last time you felt life sucks? (Im a 23 year old man, if you call me an emo or "depressed" I'll face rape you and kick you until your eyes bleed, keep reading it will all make sense in the end)
On this planet right now there are six billion people. And within this pool someone is suffering more than anyone else. Another person is suffering less than anyone else. And the rest of us suckers are all in between.
We're all trapped. Each of us is stuck being who we are. Sometimes we fight to change ourselves. But we can't - We'll always be who we are. Some of us are awesome people, the rest of us suck.
Most people are not happy people. I am not a happy person. Maybe you're not either.
Maybe you're too fat, too thin, too old, too young, too stupid. Maybe you're ugly and you've never been laid, maybe your a slut tired of always being the lay. Maybe you're in pain all the time. Maybe you're fucking crazy and trapped in your own insanity.
So you struggle with all these problems day by day - Year by year. But shit still sucks, and you wonder if it will ever change. And the very disturbing reality of it all, is that for you, life just sucks.
But of course you keep going. People are fighters, it's just in us to keep struggling to solve the problems - To find happiness - Whatever happiness is for you.
But still, life sucks.
And you see all these people out there - Happy people. And they piss you off. They are blissfully free of your problems, they can do it. Why can't you?
So, the forces which created you, random or otherwise, have spoken. And they've determined that, for you, life sucks.
But the fact is, you need to put up with these hardships if you expect to survive. In America, the death of a 300-year-old family farm is only a Stop and Shop away. Have to sell home made play doh on the black market just to survive? Suck it up. Your country is going broke lining the pockets of our "public servants" while we crumble under the weight of a nationwide debt. At this point, America doesn't really care how much crack you smoke - it just wants you in an apartment smoking crack without disturbing the rest of society. America doesn't care if you cant afford health insurance, just make sure you pay for the jobless' health insurance.
But all this really begs the question - If life sucks so much, why are we all such assholes to eachother? Is this why life sucks?
The real reason life sucks is because of us. People are the reason life sucks. Every time we do something such as lose our temper, steal, hurt another person, or immerse ourselves in jealousy, we’re contributing to the nature of life.
Life sucks.. Shit sucks.. Suck it up.
Next time you’re ruminating on how much life sucks, try changing your thought pattern to, "how can I improve the world?"
absolutely. kind of like "ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country." people come here from all over the world and bring their cultures, religions, and morals with them and americans treat them like they suck. in reality we suck. we live in a beautiful brilliant country. and they majority of people here are more willing to blow up mountains, tear down trees and fill up rivers just to make things easier to do. hard work builds character and our society feeds off of sitting on our asses waiting for someone else to do it, and then blaming foreign people for taking the shitty jobs. it sucks to be part of it. as an individual ive worked upwards of 90 hours a week to survive, not a fun thing, but necessary. and i dont empathize with people that work 3 jobs to provide for their family. i respect them. =)
